Central’s Prayer Room Ministry – The Furnace Room

We will strive to seek his will and direction for Central Christian Church,
our community, and beyond.

We believe it is God’s desire and therefore the mission of the Furnace Room Prayer Ministry at Central Christian Church to create a foundation of prayer to:

• Draw upon our Lord, through prayer, for His will and direction for Central Christian Church.
• Empower, encourage, support, protect, and strengthen our pastors, elders, leaders, teachers, staff and their families in their roles within the church and their individual walk with the Lord.
• To encourage our body of believers to become a “House of Prayer”, promoting prayer, church wide, in all church ministries and groups.  Encourage individual spiritual growth and maturity personally and corporately.
• Intercede on behalf of the lost, that they may receive the saving knowledge of Christ and the gift of the Holy Spirit.  That we may be found faithful stewards in the mission field we’ve been given and that God will provide harvest workers, as needed, for the mission field He has blessed us with.
• To be salt and light in our community, a conduit for God’s will in the healing of our community and our nation.
• To spark the fire of revival and a spiritual awakening within our congregation.
• Discourage status quo.
• Praise, worship and adoration for God, for our salvation, provision and many blessings.
