Christmas Party

Today we are going to have fun as a group with a Christmas theme. However, there are things you should know before you arrive.

1. Bring your own Christmas cookies (NOT STORE BOUGHT!!!) to share with the group. Make them together as a family or have your best chef of the family make them. Don't bring 300 cookies! We don't need that many. Just 1 good batch should be enough.

2. Bring a wrapped gift that costs no more than $10 for a White Elephant Gift Exchange. We will all go through this gift exchange. Everyone will receive a gift yet each person (not each family) is responsible for bringing a gift that is either wrapped or in a gift bag so that no one knows what it is. Please keep your gift a secret from the rest of your family also. Yes, parents need to bring a gift along as well as everyone will participate in this event. The rules will be stated before the exchange. This is always a highlight of our Christmas parties. I should also warn you that the gifts can be anything that you desire to get. Sometimes they are nice gifts & sometimes they are gag gifts. That's what makes this exchange special.

3. Best Christmas Sweater….Make it or buy it but you must wear it for the contest (you don’t have to wear it the whole night). We will have a contest for this & prizes will be issued.

4. We will be doing various games as time allows & we will be able to snack throughout. It is possible we will watch some Charlie Brown specials.

The more people the merrier.
