Ever heard the phrase, "Life is a stage"? From our view, we know that God watches over us & pays attention to us just like the loving parent He is. He shares in our excitement & comforts us in our tragedies. Are we performing for God with our lives? No...acting is not real, but it can lead to real results.

Acting tells stories through action & speech. We all have a story to tell. Each story can involve God or not. Through our dramas, our goal is to reach the story within you & combine it with the story God already has for you. To see those storied intertwine is always a beautiful sight to behold.

If you have ever desired to reach others in an alternate way through acting & performance, then we invite you to be part of our team. There are many elements to being part of a drama team that doesn't involve being on stage as well. If you have any interest at all, please talk with Josh to see how you can get involved to reach more people for God's Kingdom through the art of drama. This drama team is not just limited to the youth group as anyone from the church can be a part of it.

Our Next Performance:

April 17, 2022 - Easter Sunday during Sunday Worship

Gearing up for Easter, the youth group will be performing an Easter narration drama that is a collaboration of the accounts found in Matthew 28, Mark 16, Luke 24, & John 20. Several of the youth will have different acting roles while Josh reads a narrative of the events that took place. There will be 3 different locations visited within the drama including the tomb, the house where the disciples were staying, & the mountain in Galilee.

Our list of Dramas so far:

April 17, 2022: After the Resurrection
Several ladies visited the tomb of Jesus only to find it empty. Greeted by heavenly characters, they are given instructions to tell the rest of the disciples what happened to Jesus. The disciples were astounded by the news, especially after Jesus, Himself, greets them. Jesus gives the disciples further instruction to reach the world with the Good News.
