Everyone is welcome to this fun family friendly Christmas party!

Prep to arrive:
1. Everyone in your party needs to bring a wrapped/bagged present
2. Wear an ugly Christmas sweater
3. Come hungry
4. Be prepared to play some games
5. Bring homemade (NOT STORE BOUGHT) Christmas cookies for everyone to share. (Optional but highly encouraged)(Please bring some cookies)(You don't have to)(Everyone loves cookies)

Oh, what fun it is to...Yes, everything will be Christmas themed. Here are some experiences we will have promoted through the event:

• Gingerbread house making (group game)
• Ugly sweater contest
• Christmas bingo
• Wrap a present (individual game)
• Christmas trivia (group game)
• Eating Christmas cookies & snacks
• Fruitcake challenge (individual game)
• White Elephant gift exchange
• Viewing a Charlie Brown special

Rules for Ugly Sweater contest: You can wear a nice looking sweater if you want but we encourage getting the worst Christmas sweater you can find or make. There will be a prize given out to the person who gets the most votes. You can buy a sweater or make one on your own. Sometimes the best places to shop are thrift stores for those.

Rules for White Elephant gift exchange: Everyone must bring a gift that is wrapped or bagged (before you arrive) so no one can tell what the gift is. The price limit (if you spend anything on it) does not need to exceed $10. You can get a serious gift or a gag gift. Please do not let anyone else in your family know what you are bringing. This makes the game so much more exciting. Upon arrival, there will be a meeting spot to place your gift. When the game starts, everyone will receive a number that each person pulls out of a bowl. Once all numbers are given out, the person with #1 goes first, picks out a gift from the pile, & then opens it in front of everyone. That is their gift. The next number person has the choice to snatch the gift or grab a new gift from the pile. Play continues all the way til everyone has received a present. Once the numbers are finished the person with #1 gets one more chance to snatch a gift or take the last gift remaining. A gift can only be taken away 3 times, then it is frozen.

For the remainder of the other games, the rules will be explained before each game.

If you would like to bring any food to share other than cookies, please let Josh know. He won't refuse, but it will help on knowing what will be available.
